There are many paths to joy in this life. But all the joyful people I know have one thing in common - they just love learning.
Mistakes for the joyful are not problems, but lessons, opportunities.
They might not smile outwardly, but they are usually smiling inwardly. The smiles come from trust in life, being more aware, less subject to emotional clouding, realisation of prior lessons, or new lessons encountered. Everyone has the potential to be joyful - it is just that usually we take a passive decision not to be joyful.
Joyful people seem to have learnt how to learn - they do not assume that they do not have inner tendencies that stop them from learning.
Imagine you have resolved some of your inner tendencies, such as:
• looking for motivations before evaluating situations,
• not fully digesting information,
• not being aware of timeliness considerations,...
Successful traders tend to have resolved some of these issues or have found ways to limit the damage their learning deficiencies cause and are enjoying joyful discovery.
Now imagine what you are going to do about it.
