One of the reasons few traders make money regularly and get to keep their profits is that trading tends to exaggerate our character traits including impatience.
Here impatience is being used in the sense of restlessness.
If you are restless and, for example, do not wait for the entry or exit criteria of your trading system to occur, you are not trading your trading system. So it will not come as a surprise that you will not get the expected results of the trading system.
